Akeelah passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.
She leaves to mourn her parents, Stephanie Pelletier and Waylon Littletent; sister, Chenielle; brother, Dondre. She is also survived by her maternal grandparents, Sharon Pelletier and Leeroy McNabb, as well as many family members, too numerous to mention.
Akeelah was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Kirby and Cheryl Littletent (nee Okeeweehow).
A wake service will be held in Akeelah’s honor on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 at Piapot Band Hall, starting at 4:00pm. Funeral services will take place the following day, 11:00 am, on Wednesday July 29, 2026 in the same location. Interment will take place at Muscowpetung Main Cemetery following the funeral.
Arrangements are entrusted to Lee Funeral Home and Crematorium, 3101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK.
