

He leaves to mourn his wife Geri of 66 years. Albert was a father to sons Darrell (deceased), Kevin (Cheryl), daughter Lori (Ron) and grandfather to Chandi (Kelly), Kali (Scott), Taralynn, Travis (Shelby) and Great Grandpa to Jayla, Emily, Blake, Leah. Albert was brother to Frieda, Margaret, Rose (John) and deceased Fred, Len, Louie, Marie, Helen, Velma. He was brother-in-law to Marion and Gary (Gloria) with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Albert attended Marcliffe School in Shaunavon, Sk. He had a draying business there and helped his brother Louie build his house. He then moved to Moose Jaw to work for Caribou Sheet Metal and obtained his journeyman certificate in sheet metal. He met and married Geri in 1958 and built their house in Moose Jaw. He took a correspondence course in radio and television. Albert was very musical and played many instruments, including keyboard, trumpet, violin, harmonica, and accordion. Albert moved his young family to Regina in 1965 and worked at Westank Willock Industries until he retired in 1985. He began creating metal art sculptures, mostly music staffs. He was an amazing creative inventor. He could make or repair anything, there was nothing he couldn’t build.
Albert spent many years sharing his musical talents in his church worship band. This included contributions to 2 worship CD’s and he created several of his own recordings. Albert continued musically entertaining with Heritage Fiddlers, Celebration Singers and his own duo with Geri called MusicAl until June 2024. He was such a talented musician and never took a single music lesson.
His last years were lived comfortably at Green Falls Landing. Albert loved the heated underground parkade.
Albert cherished his entire family. He was a kind, gentle, quiet soul and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is now in the arms of his Lord and Savior.
