1932 - 2016

With sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved Mother and Nana, Alberta, on Friday, Jan.8th at the age of 83 yrs. Alberta was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 2010. She is survived by her five children: Jim (Carol), Tom (Sandi), Cathy (Garnet), Patty (Randy), and Donna (Tim). Grandchildren and great grandchildren: Jonathan, Christine (Mike), David, Paul, Heather, Tara, Megan, Alexandra, Samantha, Danielle, Luke, Hannah, Aurora, Kiara, Keenan, Taliyah, and Sophie. She is also survived by her sister Peggy, Aunt Mary, sister-in-law Isabel; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Alberta was born in Sedley in 1932 and was married for 60 years; she was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. She took great joy in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as much as they did with her. She had a caring and generous heart, always doing for others in deed and prayer. We will miss her immensely. Special thanks to all who have prayed for our mother during these difficult months. Thank you also to Dr. Karunakaran for his care and compassion. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Martha House in support of retired clergy, 1855 2nd Avenue N, Regina, SK, S4R 0Y1. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday January 12, 2016 at 11am in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 100 Argyle Street, Regina.
