Thank you everyone for your kind and compassionate words about dad. he was very much loved in this world and will forever be missed. I will always love and miss my dad and will one day see him in heaven again. I love you dad.

So sorry to hear of Fred's passing. Always loved having conversations on hockey or football with him. My deepest sympathies to the family.

Grandpa Fred was a kind man. I didn't get to see him much in my older years but I have so many cherished memories from my early childhood. Grandpa Fred will forever be to me a solid man that I looked up to who always wore a grey t-shirt with the chest pocket stuffed with a pack of cigarettes and without fail he would give me the tightest hug while slipping me a five dollar bill and kissing me on the cheek whispering something intelligible. I hope that where every you are you have found peace and hopefully some day I will see you again.

So sorry to hear of Alfred's passing.  He was a wonderful, gental man who never had anything bad to say about anyone, no matter how rude someone was.  He always thought the best of everyone, even us kids when we get into trouble, he never scolded us or judged us, he always said "learn from you mistakes".  May he rest in peace.
