Amalia Fuentes

It is with profound sadness the Fuentes familia announces the sudden passing of Amalia D. Fuentes on July 12,2023. She was surrounded by her husband, daughter, and son as she slipped away from us peacefully.

Amalia (Mommy) was born on August 19th, 1940 in Arica, Chile. Amalia lived with her husband and three children in Chile until November 1977, when they had to flee their homeland due to a military coupe. They made Regina their home, creating many beautiful memories. Mom accomplished many great things in her lifetime. She will always be remembered for her generosity and unconditional love, because in her eyes everyone was a good person. She gave so much love to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Mom will be sadly missed by all, especially her husband Juan O. Fuentes, best friends for 67 years and husband for 64 years and her three children. Juan L. Fuentes (wife Jacqueline) granddaughter Tania (partner Andre) great grandchildren Tiago and Maximiliano. Granddaughter Natalia (husband Paul) great grandchild Luca.

Deceased son Marco A. Fuentes, grandson Nicolas (wife Rowelyn) great grandchild Camila, granddaughter Ana-Maria (husband Claudio) great grandchild Valentina.

Daughter Zorka de L Scrimshaw (husband Glen) grandson Eric J. Fuentes (wife Stephanie) great grandchildren Serena and Gemma. Grandson Cristian A. Fuentes (partner Marianela) great grandchildren Mila and Joaquin.
