It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mom in the early morning hours of November 1st after a brief struggle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband Lyle and her parents Michael and Katharina Keck. Mom will be remembered as a very loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother, always organizing and hosting functions. She was very active in golf at the Lakeview Par 3 and bowling at the Golden Mile Lanes where she thoroughly enjoyed all of the friendships she had made. She had the uncanny ability to strike up a friendship wherever she went. She was a die-hard Roughrider fan to the very end. She will be forever missed by her daughters: Linda (Don), Janice (Jim); grandchildren: Chad, Heather, Michelle and Kristen; great grandchildren; Alita, Hana and Brady; and brother Michael (Pat) of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Palliative Care Ward at the Pasqua Hospital, the residents of the River Grande I condominium who helped and supported her immensely and in particular to her good friend Marilyn, who on many occasions Mom referred to as her “angel.”
