Bruce Drake

Bruce Robertson James Drake was born November 26, 1935, in Broadview, SK.

In 1959, while living in Regina, Dad met the love of his life, Geraldine Young. They married on November 21 of that same year. Mom and Dad spent 67 wonderful years together, building a life and raising their four children: Michelle, Lori, James, and Velda.

Dad moved Mom and their family into their home on Cambridge Avenue in 1966, where he was blessed enough to live out the rest of his life.

Dad was greatly loved and will be profoundly missed by his beautiful wife, wonderful children and their spouses, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was forever bugging with love and laughter… greeting with a playful hug or a firm handshake. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. Always celebrating and enjoying his life to the fullest. Dad took great pride in providing for his family over the years, but most importantly, he always took special care of our Mom, his true love. Dad loved our mom with all his heart, right up until his last breath.

Thankfully, on June 6, 2026, with his loving wife and children at his side, Dad accepted Jesus Christ into his heart as Lord and Saviour.

The family will be holding a small private gathering to celebrate Dad’s life and accomplishments.
