We were all friends back in that west corner of 13th Avenue.  There were so many of us born just after the war when our fathers came home.  It was like we were all family.  Back by Pete's store and Brinkworth playground.  So many of them are gone now.  The Bowering family was part of all that... forever etched in our memories.
