As a police officer I came to know Daryl through our interactions.  Daryl and I became friends but over the years but over time we had less and less contact with each other just because of life circumstances for both of us.  Daryl had many very hard challenges in his life but he had a great personality, I liked him.  One day Daryl called me and told me that he had accepted Jesus as his savior and told me about how his life was dramatically changed.   He moved out of the city to a small town with his wife and kids and was enjoying a new hope he had not had before.  He spoke of taking his kids fishing and about working on being a good dad.  Wow what a miracle to hear of the transformation in Daryl's life.  One day Daryl and I will catch up with each other in heaven.  I look forward to seeing you there Daryl.
