

David John Puff, born March 3, 1946 passed away peacefully in the hospital on Friday, September 1, 2017 at the age of 71, 16 days after being diagnosed with stage four lung cancer. Dave was predeceased by his parents John and Catherine Puff; daughter Lonnie; brothers Peter, Arnold and John and sister Sandi. Dave is survived by his sons Jay and Darcy (Amanda); granddaughter Vanessa; soulmate Cheryl Smith and her children Chad and Crystal; brother Don (Robin) Puff and sister Joanne (Bryan) Turchak; sisters-in-law Pat, Janice and Marlene. Dave will also be missed by his furbabies Molly, Arthur, Harriet, and Steve and grandfurbabies Larry, Rudi, Kobi and Whompus.
Dave was employed in construction, he was a site foreman for many bridges built in Alberta. He spent many years living in Red Deer and Grand Prairie. Dave suffered a stroke and lost his choice of work but continued to do small construction projects. He moved back to Regina to be closer to his sons and family. Dave was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
As per Dave’s request, flowers are gratefully declined. Monetary donations to help toward funeral costs would be greatly appreciated by the family.
