Donald was born to Alfred and Irene in Humboldt SK. He passed away suddenly at home in Regina SK. As the youngest of nine children, he started life on the family farm near Marysburg SK and in 1959 moved to Wakaw SK, where he received his education. In 1980 he married Joan Lothian, they had one son. Joan passed away in 1986. He later had 2 daughters with Wendy. He was predeceased by his parents; father-in-law Daniel; brothers Alvin, Roman and Delmar and one sister Marie Stensrud. He is survived by his son Gordon (Jamie); daughters Christine (Micheal) and Erin; brothers Arthur (Mavis), Harold (Janice); sisters Marlene Paul, Norma (Claude Johnson); Mother-in-law Marjorie; sisters-in-law Lorraine, Jeanette, Susan (Denis) and brothers-in-law Glen, Bill (Pat); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue at 10:00am. A private Family Interment will be held in the Carlyle Cemetery.
