1944 – 2026
Ernest Willard Yaganiski passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on the anniversary of his beloved wife’s passing 33 years ago, on July 31, 2026. Ernest was born on May 10, 1944, on the family farm in SK.
Ernest is survived by his children and their families; Tina (Pat) Ridgway, grandchildren, R.J. (Natasha), Sarah, Kenny; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Sawyer, Declan, Makayla, and Daylynn; Cheri (Jason) Roske, grandchildren, Brandon (Josie), Andrew; Blair, grandchildren, Mathew, Kiley; his siblings, Ron (Elaine) of Mossbank, SK, Eleanor (Bill) Novik of Danbury, SK, Patricia Chamberland of Ottawa, ON, Leonard of Hyas, SK, Christine of Regina, SK, Jerry (Pat) of Kamsack, SK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ernest was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara; his parents, Cassie and Pete Yaganiski; and two infant brothers, Milard and Larry.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Golden Prairie Care Home for the care they provided Ernie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am, on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home and Cremation, 2080 Victoria Ave E, Regina, SK. There will be an interment at a later date in the fall in Lebret, SK.
