Florence Olliver Todd

August 14, 1927 – May 9, 2014

It is with great sadness that our family announces the peaceful passing of Florence Todd at age 86. Florence is predeceased by her husband Thornton Todd of 65 years and several brothers and sisters. Mother, grandmother, great-grandmother Florence was a special, exceptional and loved person by all those whose lives she touched. She was a kind-hearted and giving person where family and friendships were important to her and she opened her home freely to one and all. Some of mom’s happiest times were with family, grandchildren and friends. Florence was born and raised in Fir Mountain, SK to George and Daisy Olliver. She was one of ten children of which two passed earlier. Florence came to Regina at age 17 and found work at Regina Grey Nuns Hospital in the kitchen as supervisor. She retired in 1984. She met Dad and married in 1949. Mom is survived by and will be sadly and forever missed by her 4 children Shirley (John, children Penny and Barry), Darlene (Darrell, children Todd, Michael and Kristine), Bev (Don, children Steven, Mark and Ryan) and Ken (Lois, children Pam and Trevor) and 18 great-grandchildren. Florence is also saying good-bye to her two brothers Ron and Tom Olliver. Special thank you to the wonderful staff of Pioneer Village Main West.
