He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Therese; children Mark (his children Matthew, James and Katy), Sandra (Terry Meier; her children Sean, Brandee, Brandon and Travis Spiers), Dean (Lori; their daughter Emily), and Cindy (Brian Glover; their daughters Amber and Breanna). Also to remember Dad are his brother Allan (Georgina); sisters-in-law Beatrice, Frances, and Carol Terry; Jean, Ada, and Doreen Cancade; Ann Jalbert and Carolyn Cross; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his parents Frederick M. And Mary (Tekla) Terry; infant grandsons Eric and Christopher Terry; infant granddaughter Ashley Spiers; son-in-law Tim Spiers; siblings Raymond (Pearl), Lawrence (Irene), Clara (Paul Ruel), Louis, George, Frank, Gladys (Paul Melle) and Donald; mother-in-law Augustine (Cancade) Jalbert; brothers-in-law Tony, John and George Cancade. Dad was born on January 7, 1929 in Leslie, Saskatchewan and raised in Esterhazy. At a young age, he started working on ships and sailed around the world. He loved to tell stories about his overseas adventures. He returned to Saskatchewan settling in Regina where he met the love of his life, Therese Cancade. Dad said it was love at first sight for him, but that it took him a bit to convince mom. They were married on August 11, 1959 and spent 61 years together. Dad loved and cherished his family and he will live forever in our hearts. We would like to thank the staff at Parkside Extendicare where he resided for the past year and a half and also the staff at Victoria Park Personal Care Home, and Life Force Home Health Services at Queen Victoria Estates for their care.

Condolences to the Terry family, so many fond memories of your dad from Eastview/St. Charles. It was a pleasure and honor to work along side him at St. Charles in buildings and grounds/bazaars, collection counting, at Mass, at the local outdoor rink and the list goes on. The many gifts of fish freshly caught was always appreciated. I fondly remember baby sitting the boiler at St. Charles for 72 hours straight with your dad, Mr. Szeles and Fr. Andries when the boiler decided to give out just days before Christmas in one of the coldest winters I have experienced. I know he rests safely in the arms of Jesus. Take care everyone.
