Harley Bernard Horack was born on March 21, 1946. Harley was predeceased by his parents Joe and Rose Horack, his brother-in-law Ronald Resch and great nephew Joseph. Harley leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and partner Sue; his beloved sons Tim (Shelley) Horack; grandson Kyle; Shelley’s sons Justin and Mathew; Scott (Joanne) Horack; grand-daughters Nicole and Rachel Horack; his sisters and brothers Jim (Elaine) Horack, Doreen (Ken) Resch, Phyllis Resch, Warren (Shirley) Horack, Ken (Barb) Horack and Arlene (Alfred) Schaeffer; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless wonderful friends. Harley was a warm, caring person and was always ready to tease and joke, especially with children. Harleys family and extended family are very close and he enjoyed spending time with all of them. He liked spending time at the lake and looked forward to the warm winter holidays that he and Sue took every winter. Harley had numerous serious health issues over the years and the open heart surgery he had to have recently caused complications that he sadly could not overcome. He will be greatly missed, but he is at peace. The family wishes to thank Dr. Moustapha and all of the doctors and nurses of the SICU at the General Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care during this difficult time. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Cecilia Roman Catholic Church, 5020 7th Ave, Regina, Saskatchewan, on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harleys name to Diabetes Canada, 1400-522 University Avenue, Toronto, ON M5G 2R5 and urge everyone to consider organ donations.
