Harvey Alexander Tipping

It is with great sadness that the family of Harvey A. Tipping announces his passing on Sunday, January 25, 2015. He passed away peacefully, at home, surrounded by family at the age of 77. Harvey leaves behind his loving wife and devoted personal nurse of 52 years, Sharon, and their three daughters Shannon (Wayne E.), Shawna (Issam), and Sheryl (Wayne C.), his sister Mae (Del) Morris, his brothers-in law Bev (Marlene) Thompson and Norman Miller, grandchildren (Ameer, Logan, Hudson, Ryan, Sameer, Jayden and Melada), as well as several nieces and nephews. Harvey was predeceased by his parents Annie and Isaac Tipping, his parents-in-law Jim and Margaret Thompson, sister-in-law Orla Miller and nephew Glenn Morris. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 29 from 7-9 pm at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Avenue. The funeral will be held on Friday, January 30 at 2 pm at Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church, 5303 Sherwood Drive, where Harvey was a member for many years. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Norman Kennedy Presbyterian Church (5303 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK, S4R 7E7) in the name of Harvey Tipping. Harvey was truly a blessing to his family and friends and continued to share his stories and laughter despite his medical challenges over the past ten years. The family would like to thank his medical, palliative care team and Pastor Ronda for their dedicated support during his illness. We will miss him greatly!
