Dear Norma and Lyle,
We got your message about Helen upon our return from holidays in Hawaii.  
Needless to say, it took us aback to hear about Helen's passing.  But, all is in God's timing and that is always just perfect.  So we know that she is in a better place where she will now be able to experience "tears" of joy and happiness.  

Speaking of timing, I must share that I had decided to visit Helen just before we went on holidays.  She was sleeping, but the care-givers said I could wake her up and so I did it very gently. She quickly asked me to get a chair (her hospitality and concern for others was always her nature)so that I would not have to stand as I visited by her bed.    So I did and we had a wonderful visit.  Of course, we looked at the pictures on her window sill and she was very happy to share about each and every one.  

I will miss her and shall hold her in my heart with warm and loving memories.  She was there for our family when we needed her and she was a GIFT from GOD.  We were blessed to have had her in our Circle of Friends.  

THANK YOU, Norma for letting us know.  That was sincerely appreciated.

Now just take all those wonderful and good traits that your mother possessed and continue her legacy through your lives, Norma and Lyle.  I know how much she loved you and all the rest of her family.  That was always evident in her sharings.

My memories of Auntie Helen are always attached to laughter, kidding around and taking life not too seriously. She was a wonderful Auntie!  Also remarkable is that almost all of my memories involve Auntie Helen and Uncle Hank together laughing...and this is a testament to their love and life together.  May they now be in peace together as well.
