Wambdi Ahe’ Wiyan
Irene was born on December 26, 1934 on the Standing Buffalo Dakota Nation and passed away peacefully with loving family by her side. She is predeceased by her husband James; son Douglas; parents Joseph Matthew and Rosalie Yuzicapi; grandparents Louie and Martha Tawiyaka; sister in infancy Rosalee; brothers George and Ernie Yuzicapi; sister Joan Turning Bear and numerous relatives. Irene is lovingly survived by her children and grandchildren, sister Vivian and brother Albert, relatives and friends in Canada and USA and extended families Frank Tacan (Deborah), Gary Holy Bull, Del and Dorothy Alexson, Roy and Carla Bison.
