With deepest sorrow, we announce that Katherine Daniels, our most beloved mother, daughter, sister, family member and friend, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the age of 34 years.
Katherine was predeceased by her mother Stacey Daniels. She is survived by her loving children Torrance Daniels, Payton Lakota Montclair, Nayo O’Shea Daniels Fox, and Kyrie Joseph Daniels Fox; her love Okimaw Fox; father Henry Akan; brothers Anthony, Christopher, Terence, Nathen, and Joshua; sisters Miranda, Hannah; grandmother Grace; special friend Keheiw Fox; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. So many loved ones whose lives she touched will miss Kat.
Katherine influenced so many people’s lives during her employment at Street Culture, R.A.G.S. and SWAP. Thank you to everyone who was there for Kathrine during her final hours, including the medical teams at Pasqua and General Hospital, and the First Nations and Metis Health Services (Samantha, Elder, Wendell Starr, etc.)
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday April 24, 2022 in the Chapel of the Lee Funeral Home 3101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK. from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
Tradition Wake will be held on Sunday April 24, 2022 at George Gordon First Nation, Old School Gymnasium at 4:00 PM.
Traditional Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 25, 2022 at George Gordon First Nation, Old School Gymnasium at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St. Luke Cemetery, George Gordon First Nation.
