It is with heavy heart, yet the comfort of peace, that the family of Lorraine announces her passing on Friday September 9th, 2016 at the age of 88. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Reg; parents Ellen Cassie and Jacob Earl Lawson; sisters Evelyn, Murle, Elaine, Doreen and brothers Floyd and Phil. Brother in laws Steve Sluzalo, Bob Huntley, Arthur Mead, Toby Serack, James Broome and Alfred Hill and sister in law Jennie.
Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Cathy Schroth (Bruce), sons; Kevin Rayner (Debra) and Patrick Rayner. Lorraine is also survived by her granddaughters Jade Rayner (Bob Slinn), Amanda Elliott and sister in law Bernice Lawson as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
An informal service will be held at Regina Cemetery (Columbarium), Broad Street and 4Th Avenue, for friends and family September 24, 2016 at 1:00 pm for those who wish to attend. Following the short service there will be a celebration of her life to reflect and share good memories at the home where she raised her 3 children and spent her married life with her husband approximately 2:30 pm.
