Margaret M Bernat, aged 88, of Regina Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2026, after a short illness. She was born in Esterhazy, SK on June 23rd, 1938.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Albert & Margaret Bernat; and her sister, Magdalene Perko.
She is survived by her brothers, Matthew Bernat (Judie) & Lawrence Bernat; sister, Eugenia Kos; her sons, Mervin Bernat, Jason Bernat (Priscilla); her granddaughter, Christina Lytle (Brad and children Bennet, Elise, Levi, Brielle)
Mom was a strong, independent woman who knew her own mind and lived life in her own way. She valued her independence and took pride in being her own person. She had a special love for her family, who meant so much to her, and the memories we shared with her will always hold a special place in our hearts.
One of Mom’s favourite pastimes was playing bingo. It brought her happiness, excitement, and the opportunity to enjoy time doing something she loved. Whether she was hoping for that winning number or simply enjoying the moment, bingo was one of the little things that made her happy.
Above all, Mom was an important part of our family. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, and love that we will carry with us forever. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we are grateful for the time we had with her and for the memories that will never fade.
Mom, you will be deeply missed and loved more than words can express. Your place in our family can never be filled, and your memory will live on in each of us. We hope you knew just how much you meant to us.

Funeral Service will be held at Lee Funeral Home and Crematorium, 3101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK on October 22nd 2026 at 1pm.
Visitations will be held before and after the service staring at 12pm and concluding at 2pm.
Margaret will be laid to rest at Regina Memorial Gardens, interment will follow the service for immediate family.
