It is with deep sadness that the family of Mike announce his passing at the Palliative Care Unit. Welcoming him home are his parents, Anne and Frank; in laws Adam and Theresa Huber and Todd Huber. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Maureen; son Ryan and Tamara, daughter Renee; Huber family Jim and Elaine, Paul and Tanis, Brett and Kristi (Jackson, Keaton, Charlotte), Joanne and Larry, Brian and Janette, as well as many friends and relatives.
Thank you to all our friends and family for your thoughts, prayers and visits. Thank you to the staff and doctors on the palliative team for their care and understanding. Thank you to Father Brad for his compassionate visits and wise words.
A private mass in celebration of Mike's life will be held at St. Cecilia Parish with an interment at Riverside Cemetery. In honour of Mike, consider a donation to Diabetes Canada or the Pack Project Regina.
M is for the man we knew and loved, I is for his inspiration and integrity, K is for his knowledge and kindness, E is for his efforts to help others and all of our emotional sadness since he left us too soon. We love you.
