With great sadness, Mohammed Ali suddenly passed due to heart disease on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the age of 62 years old, with his closest daughters by his side. He joins his late father Mohsin Ali; mother Mahabuba Begum; sister Lily; brother Robin; and close uncle Dr. MD Ahsan Ali of Bangladesh. He will be missed by his children Jennifer (Rocky), Sheila, Lyla (Kenneth Pagan), Sanya (Mahabub Hasan), Reeta, Gina, and Naser; remembered by siblings Sheuli, Tito and Shirin; he leaves seven grandchildren too soon Sarah, Noah, Selena, Mariah, Mira, Madan, and Ziyana Arya.
Mohammed, born in Bangladesh, proudly attended Dhaka Residential Model School where he made memorable and lasting friendships. At 17 he travelled to Canada and made Regina, SK his home. Throughout the years he worked at non-profit organizations where he became close with many people he encountered. He was a beloved brother and father who dedicated his life to raising his family and spent most of his time guiding and helping loved ones any way he could.
His burial took place on Saturday, October 19, 2019 and he will forever rest in peace at the Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, Regina, SK. A Service of Remembrance will be open to the public on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Double Tree by Hilton, 1975 Broad Street, Regina, SK.
