Nettie Ardelli

Nettie Ardell was born on the family farm in the Church Hill district, northeast of Ituna, SK, on Aug 8th, 1941. Nettie was part of a large family and was one of fifteen children to Tony and Mary (nee Doroshenko) Ardell. She lived on the family farm in the Parkerview District before moving to Regina. Nettie was an animal lover, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, crocheting, and sharing her amazing cooking with the family. Nettie passed away Monday, July 20th, at the age of 84. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary in 1975; father, Tony in 1986; sister, Marie in 1987; brother, Eugene in 1990; sister, Dora in 1995; sister, Gerri in 2006; sister, Vickie in 2014; sisters, Irene and Ann Shull in 2015; sister, Sophie Sharkey and brother Matt in 2017; brother, Mike in 2021; and sister, Margaret in 2022.

She leaves to cherish her memory and mourn her passing, her siblings, Nellie of Yorkton; Elsie, of Regina; and Johnny (Marge) of Yorkton, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church located in the Church Hill District at a future date with interment at the Parish Cemetery. The family of Nettie would like to thank the staff at Wascana Rehab for their care of Nettie.
