On Tuesday, September 13, 2016, Raymond Rey, Kipling, SK., died at the age of 94 years. The funeral service will be held in the Kipling Community Center on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Terry Murphy officiating. Interment of cremated remains in the Kipling Cemetery. Predeceased by his wife Madeline in 2005, son-in-law Rick Halipchuk, sisters: Eileen (Art) Warner, Ida (Bill) Thompson; brother Edmund (Wilhelmina) Rey and sister-in-law Vivian (Joe) McDonald. Raymond is survived by five children, Gary Rey, Dwayne Rey, Donna Rey, Cathy Halipchuk and Michael (Laurie) Rey, his grandchildren: Ashley and Sara Halipchuk; Brittney (Robert) Green, Amber Rey and Lane (Lindsay) Rey his great granddaughter Mercedes, brother Leo Rey, sister-in-law, Myrna (Gary) Johnson, as well as his nieces and nephews. If friends so desire contributions to the Kipling and District Health Foundation, Box 989, Kipling, SK., may be tokens of remembrance.
