Sheila Hastings

May 26, 1947 – June 17, 2025

It is with deep sorrow that we announce Sheila Hastings was called home to the creator on Tuesday June 17, 2025, at the age of 78. Sheila was predeceased by her mother Marguerite Petrie, and father Clifford Petrie, husband Wayne Hastings, brother Douglas Petrie. Brother in-laws Tom Hastings, Albert Hastings, Clarence Hastings, Reg Hastings. Sister in-laws Helen Wirth, Beth Hastings, June Bear, Great grandchildren Solace Larose and Niko Larose.

Sheila was a loving, caring, kindhearted person who loved to laugh and make jokes. She would light up the room with her smile and her silly comments towards everyone. She was very loved and had an amazing smile. She would love to play crib and bingo with the family. She also loved to knit. Sheila loved reading and drinking coffee. She worked at the TC Douglas building and Vital Statistics. Sheila will be missed dearly.

Sheila is survived by her sons Douglas Hasting, Ryan Hastings, daughter Beverly Hastings, grandchildren Joseph Hastings, Sierra Hastings, Chad Hastings, Jeremy Hastings, Kimberlee Hastings, Savanna Hastings (Raj), Great grandchildren Jayden Hastings Everett Hastings, Mahihkan Hastings-Mantee, Sylvia Hastings-Mantee, Calliope Larose, as well as many other relatives.

A Visitation for Sheila will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, Saskatchewan

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM at New Beginnings Lutheran Church, 1037 Victoria Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan

Friends and family of Sheila Hastings will be welcome to attend both.
