January 9, 1975 – August 25, 2026
It is with great sadness that we share the peaceful unexpected passing of Sheritee Mae Leik on August 25, 2026, at the age of 51.
Sheritee was born in Melville and raised on a farm near Killaly surrounded by the people she loved. This part of Saskatchewan will always be home to her as she carried a deep connection throughout her life.
Sheritee grew up in a musical family and had a lifelong love of music; especially since her dad played in the Rhythm Kings, a polka band. She loved being the life of the party; you always find her laughing, dancing, and telling one of a kind stories.
Her stories, laughter, and unforgettable spirit will be deeply missed by her loved ones and those fortunate to have known her.
Throughout her adult life, Sheritee faced health challenges with strength and perseverance. Despite these challenges, she continued to find joy in the things she loved.
She enjoyed watching horror movies and crime shows. In recent years, she enjoyed spending time crocheting and creating diamond art. Anyone who knew her well knew about her love of pickles and gnomes — one of the many little things that made Sheritee unmistakably Sheritee.
Sheritee always wanted a family and was blessed to find her fiancé, Scott Dormuth. She cherished the opportunity to become a stepmother and was grateful for the family they shared together.
Left to cherish her memory is her fiancé Scott Dormuth; step son Jrake (Dineke); step daughter Meagan (Max); sister Sonia Hansinger (Dean); nieces Shantel (Chris), Shelsey, Sydney; nephew Steve (Camille); as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Sheritee’s life will be held on Saturday September 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue E, Regina. A private family interment will be held.
