1925 – 2013
Stuart passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the age of 88 years, after a brave battle with cancer. Stuart was predeceased by his parents Robert & Mary; and two brothers Ray & Gordon. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Shirley; children Allan (Susan), Douglas (Claudia) & Heather; grandchildren Tina (Daniel), Ryan, Stuart (Caitlin), Maxwell, Stacy & Todd; great-grandsons Ashton & Zander; one brother Glenn (Amy); sisters-in-law Erna Johnston & Dawn (John) Lawrick; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Stuart was a long time Regina business owner in the trucking, agricultural products and glass industries. The family offers special thanks to Dr. McMillan & the Palliative Care Team who gave us such wonderful support & care. A Celebration of Stuart’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Westhill Park Baptist Church, 8025 Sherwood Drive, Regina, SK. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stuart’s memory can be made to Regina Palliative Care Inc., or Westhill Park Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
