Susan Kathleen Robinson

Susan left us on Wednesday August 26 after a long struggle with many health problems. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sister Pat and her mother Ruth; by her sister-friend Donna Alderton and Cliff, Denise, Shawna, and their children; by Aunt Yvonne; by cousins Bonnie Belsher and Dale, Linda Swensen and Brian, Judi, Don, and Mike Robinson; cousin's children Tim, Darcy, Carly, and Cori, as well as their children; by the Thursday Night Girls, past and present, and by many other relatives and friends. She touched the lives of hundreds of children during a career close to 40 years starting with Greenhouse Alternative School and continuing at Herchmer, Wascana, and other schools. Susan had a strong commitment to community schools and to the people they served. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations to charities that help children reach their full potential for learning and joy. If you can, plant a tree or garden perennial to keep Susan's spirit alive. The family wishes to thank the staff of Santa Maria Home, particularly those who work on the second floor and those in food services who took such care to meet Susan's needs.
