Virginia Eberle

It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my cherished mother, Virginia Eberle (Lascu). She passed away on August 30, 2025 in Regina, SK. Virginia is predeceased by her husband Anthony, son Russell, and parents George and Lucretzia Lascu.

She is survived by her son Rodney, sister Patricia (Joseph) Frohlick, numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins, and her church family.

Virginia worked at Grey Nuns Pasqua Hospital where she was introduced to her husband Anthony by her friend Violet. They married in 1956 and twin sons Rodney and Russell followed in 1959. Virginia was very proud of her sons and their accomplishments.

She really enjoyed serving coffee for the church agapes and could be seen at the Romanian Mosaic Pavilion serving coffee and desserts for many years.

Virginia retired from her government position in 2001. In her retirement she enjoyed gardening and had Saskatchewan Roughriders season tickets for over 50 years. She especially loved the members of her church family and was a long standing member of the Orthodox Church.

A Prayer Service will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Ave E, on Monday September 8, 2025, at 7:00 pm.
