It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Stan, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle & friend. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend Shelly; daughter Holly; son Matthew; step-sons Sean (Jessica) & Jason Brewster; grand-daughter Adia Brewster; sister Carla (Mike) Koot; nieces Jessica, Porscha; nephew J.R. (Karen); mother-in-law Pat McNeil; Shelly’s sisters & family: Colleen (Don, Geoffrey, Sarah, Lyncoln) Gerow; Debbie (Bruce, Jennifer, Rebecca) Murray; Lana (Kelly) Schneider & his furry friends. Stan was born December 11, 1953 in Regina and was predeceased by his parents Walter & Mouriene. He grew up in Regina and attended University where he majored in History. Stan had a passion for music and was an accomplished guitarist. Stan also loved snowmobile racing. Stan was a very hard working man his entire life and would lend a helping hand if needed, no questions asked. He was very proud of his family, true to himself and never lost sight of his dream which was to live in Puerto Vallarta. Sadly, that dream was never fully realized. Special thanks to Don and Grant from Midknight Express.
To hear your voice and see your smile
To sit with you and talk awhile
To be together in the same old way
Would be our greatest wish today
