William Nasea (Bill) was born on November 19, 1922 and raised on a farm near Kayville, Saskatchewan. Bill married Madelyn in 1949 and they had 2 children, Barry and Terry. Bill farmed the same home quarter where he was raised until 2004, when he and Madelyn moved to Regina. After Madelyn’s passing in 2011, Bill lived in Avonlea, Saskatchewan with his son, Barry. Bill is predeceased by his wife, Madelyn Nasea; his parents John and Anna Nasea; brothers Nick Dobra, Joe Dobra, John Dobra, Connie Nasea and George Nasea; sisters Rosie Rusu and Mary Banda. He is survived by his children Barry and Terry (Jim Morrow); grandchildren Jonathan, Ryan (Natasha), Jeremy (Sadie), David, Leah (Robert), Lynette (Brad) and Blayne (Kirsten); and great-grandchildren Avary, Hannah, Tristan, Morgan, Ryder, Olivia, Steven, Blake, Evan, Jasper and Emmett; sister Sophie Boghean and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill was an active member of the Kayville Community. He was a part of the St Mary’s and St. Peter & Paul’s Church as well as a member of the Kayville Senior Centre. He enjoyed having coffee and visiting with family and friends in his home or at community events. Bill appreciated the contentment felt after a day spent working outside. He had a mechanically gifted mind, which was an asset to him while repairing and maintaining the farm equipment. He was never wasteful and found a way to reuse or repurpose most items on the farm. Bill was an excellent storyteller and often had his audience, young and old alike, laughing.
