It is with heavy hearts the family of Wilma Wilson announce her passing on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband Jack; parents Florence and George Keith; sisters Marguerite, Isobel, and Eileen; brothers John, and Robert; and sisters-in-law Lois, Ann, and Betty; and brothers-in-law Paul Hasse and John Wood. Wilma is survived by daughter Carol (Otto) Schussler, their children Otto (Trisha), Lisa, and Stefan; son Wayne (Brenda) and their children Robert (Luna), Christa (Shane) Stark, and Lorna (Sheldon); daughter Patricia (Frank) Clampitt, their children David (Betty), Nicole (Jim) Turner, and Sarah (Lukas); four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law John Hind; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wilma was raised on her parents’ farm in Hazenmore, SK and was the second youngest of six children. As a teenager, she moved to Pense, SK to work for her cousins, and there she met Jack in 1946. They were married in 1947. Eventually they took over his parents’ store and raised a family in Pense, where they remained until Jack’s passing in 1988. Wilma moved to Regina shortly thereafter where she became an active member of the Regina Apostolic Church. A Funeral Service will be held at the Regina Apostolic Church, 808 Assiniboine Avenue East in Regina, SK on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, 3535 8th Avenue, Regina, SK, S4T 0T6, or to the charity of your choice.
