She was born June 9, 1925, in Stone Town, the daughter of the late George Kinsey and Carrie (Bauscher) Kinsey.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Schaeffer, on June 7, 2009, her daughter, Sharon L. Denunzio, on Feb. 12, 1996, and two sisters, Mary E. Eckert and Helen I. Heath.
She is survived by her son, James G. Schaeffer; five grandchildren: James L. Rhoads, Kelly L. Heller, Kimberly L. Herndon, Matthew J. Schaeffer and Patrick J. Schaeffer; and three great- grandsons: Devon T. Mahr, Justin S. Mahr and Logan M. Herndon.
Friends and family will be received at the Auman Funeral Home, Reiffton, on Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Forest Hills Memorial Park.
