Roger A. Scott

Roger Allen Scott, age 73, passed away July 12, 2022 at his home in Reading, PA. Roger was the beloved husband of Kathleen Jones, son of the late William and Thelma (Spencer) Scott, brother to William Scott Jr. (Carole), Marilyn Clyner (Paul), and Pamela Frohlich (Charlie), father to Todd, Brian, and Dennis Scott (Renee), Sherri Williams (Joe), & Eric Cupper (Julia). Dog father to Suki Anne and Maggie Mae. Poppi to Morgan, Hunter, Sophia, Alexander, Mia & Lilyana.

Roger was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He spent his occupational career as a manager and later (post-retirement) consultant for U.S. Steel, for a combined 40 years of loyal service. Roger was an avid woodworker; his hobby began when he built a cornice for his beloved wife, Kathy. He cherished spending time, especially Father’s Day’s, golfing with his sons, spending time with friends and family. He was also a skilled artist, pianist, and avid traveler. Roger is immensely loved and will be greatly missed.
