Born in West Reading on April 5, 1944, he was the son of the late Leroy and Lydia (Hafer) Dunkelberger. He attended Reading School District schools.
Terry was employed with OB Dyers as a Foreman for over 15 years in his younger years. Later he was employed with Cloric Foundry in production for five years. Lastly, he was employed with Reading Railroad for several years. Terry worked with his wife at their shop, Grandma's Kitchen and 6 Pak but it was more like social hour.
Terry was an avid baseball fan, in fact as a child, he was the Bat Boy at the stadium for the Fightin' Phil's. He enjoyed going to the races, eating, trips to Delaware and riding Go-Carts with Andy.
In addition to his wife, Sharon; Terry is survived by two brothers: Earl Dunkelberger and his wife, Florence and Donald Dunkelberger and his wife, Grace, two sisters: Fern (Dunkelberger) Calabrese and her husband, Ronald and Linda (Dunkelberger) George and her husband, John.
In addition to his parents, Leroy and Lydia; Terry is predeceased by a brother: Herbert Dunkelberger and five sisters: Betty (Dunkelberger Cleaver, Patricia (Dunkelberger) Snyder, Mary (Dunkelberger) Bataller, Nancy (Dunkelberger) Wilson and Donna (Dunkelberger) Slider..
Services for Terry are private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading.
