Angela Sharon Monroe was born in Monroe, Washington on November 8th,1976. Angela came to live with the Talton family through the foster care system when she was only eight months old. She was such a wonderful addition to the large family that already consisted of four girls and two boys that they adopted
Angela when she was three years old, and she officially became Angela Sharon Talton. Typically, families are a mixture of people thrown together by chance, assigned at birth and linked by DNA. Angela was different. She was special to the Taltons because she was chosen. She wasn’t just born to their family; she was especially selected to be loved by them forever. Angela was a happy child with bright, sparkling eyes and an amazing smile.
Baby Angie was soft and squishy like a marshmallow, earning her the nickname “Puff” from early on, a nickname that would stick around for most of her lifetime. Angela accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as an adolescent and she was baptized at Foothills Baptist Church. Angela attended Liberty High School, Tiger Mountain Alternative and went on to study briefly at Renton Technical College.
