Connie On-Yee Sau, age 51, passed away peacefully at home. She was born on March 3, 1974, in Hong Kong and made her home in Renton, WA, for the latter half of her life.
Connie was a patient and devoted mother, a warm ray of light, and a quietly strong presence in the lives of everyone who knew her. Her gentle guidance, thoughtful words, and steady support created a sense of safety and love for her family and friends. She had a way of making ordinary moments feel special, whether through a shared laugh, a comforting hug, or simply her presence in the room.
She married Brian Oo in 2004, sharing a life full of love, partnership, and quiet joy. Connie is survived by her daughter, Kelly Oo, and her husband, Brian Oo, and was preceded in death by her father, Nai Hing Sau.
Connie had an infectious warmth and a subtle, gentle sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around her. She had a gift for noticing the little things—the soft glow of sunlight through the window, the calm of a quiet morning, the laughter of loved ones—and made them feel even more meaningful. Her energy and presence will continue to be felt in these small, tender moments that remind us of her love.
Connie’s life was a tapestry of love, care, and joy, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy is one of kindness, patience, and an enduring light that will never fade.
