Elizabeth Emma Ciccanti

Elizabeth was born on November 28, 1932 in Breese, Illinois to Joseph and Margaret Dinelt. After graduating high school in the spring of 1950, she married Anthony David “Tony” Ciccanti on February 17, 1951. After Tony graduated from college, he was hired by Boeing and they moved to the Seattle area in June 1956, where they spent the rest of their lives and raised four children. They remained married until his death in 2013.

Betty was an avid reader, who enjoyed gardening, antiquing and raising her family. Later when her children were adults, she enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children and their spouses; daughter Cheryl Eklund and her husband Dan, son David Ciccanti and his wife Pam, and daughter Amy Currie and her husband Jason, as well as four grandchildren; Alexander, Aidan, Sawyer and Finley. She is preceded in death by her daughter Lisa Marie Ciccanti (2002).

The service will be a private ceremony with family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity on her behalf.
