Joyce Jean Hedlund, age 91, passed away peacefully November 19, 2019 due to a Brain Aneurysm. She was born January 9, 1928 in Pierce, NE to Harvey and Cleta Frink. She married Edwin Dyor Hedlund in October 26, 1947 in Planview, NE. Who preceded her in death in 2004.
Joyce loved to have family and friends around enjoying times together. Especially at celebrations of a birthday, holiday and just getting together for the fun of it, sprue of the moment gathering.
For many years Joyce worked for JC Penneys, as an office clerk, then became an office supervisor & catalog supervisor. Retired early in her 60’s.
Joyce is survived by her brother and wife Dennis and Myrna Frink, daughter Pamela Kay Hedlund, sons Richard Lydel Hedlund and Scott Edwin Hedlund and their wives. Plus 8 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also was preceded in death her oldest brother Gordon Frink, sister in law Lorene Frink, and her first son Terry Lee Hedlund.
Joyce lived a full life and most of all she loved her family and instilled strong values.
Everyone she touched has an awesome story to tell. She will be clearly missed and forever in our hearts.
