Keon C. McGraw, 23, of Issaquah, passed away on January 29, 2020. A loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, and cousin to so many will be so greatly missed by his family and friends. Keon was soft at heart, smart witted, with an exceptional personality. He had a natural ability of giving, lifting people’s spirits, taking the lead, and his sense of humor was top notch. Keon’s love and appreciation of music was shaped at an early age, cultivated through his school years with his love and genre of music being very diverse. He was a naturally gifted guitarist who could jam out on the guitar with ease or create a soft acoustic melodic piece on the guitar, well beyond his typical 23-years.
Keon’s gifts and passion also crossed over into physical fitness for it was clearly evident in his physique. He trained hard in the gym, enjoyed helping others reach their goals and inspired others by becoming a certified Phase II Master Personal Fitness Trainer. When not in the gym, he was enjoying the beautiful Pacific Northwest and being outdoors, hiking, snowboarding, and skateboarding, being on the board came easy for him, both of which he learned and mastered at a very young age. Keon truly lived life to the fullest and it shown through in everything he accomplished for he had a natural talent for nearly everything that he did. Keon’s special gift was just being himself- the soft kind soul that he was, enjoying just the simplest pleasures in life and being surrounded by family and friends. His infectious personality, smile, and laughter are what everyone will remember and will deeply miss the most but will never be forgotten.
Our deepest gratitude and appreciation to our family, friends, and Pastor Shannon DeVries, for their continued prayers, love, and support during our life changing difficult time. We love and will miss you every day Keon, your legacy will live on through your family, my son.
As a living tribute to Keon’s love for the outdoors and the US National Forest Restoration 2020 Wildlife Tree Recovery Program, there will be ten trees planted in our nation’s forests in memory and honor of Keon McGraw.
