Robert "Bob" Goetz

Born June 2, 1929 in Devils Lake, North Dakota, Bob moved to the Renton area

after serving in the United States Army during World War II.

He leaves behind his children Mike (Penny) Goetz, Michelle (JR) Harrison, Ted Sanders, Tracey (Rob) Swart, Jeff Dondero, grandsons Corey (Charana) Goetz, Casey (Shawna) Goetz, Kyle (Jennie) Ugaitafa, Thaddeaus (Elaine) Swart, Travis Ugaitafa, Jessie Dondero, Molly Swart, great-grandchildren Tori, Hunter, Erin, Spencer, Tayler, and sister Frances, in addition numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Susan, sisters Agnes, Loretta and brother Ralph.

Bob had a deep love for his family and friends; he enriched all their lives and will be greatly missed. Besides his family, Bob’s passion was hunting and fishing. He loved traveling with family and friends in his motor home seeking out the best fishing holes. Bob was in the auto industry and owned several auto, boat and RV businesses over the years.

Memorial services will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park, 350 Monroe Ave NE, Renton at 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 16th. Remembrances in Bob’s memory may be made to Veterans’ of Foreign War, American Cancer Society, or Providence Hospice of Seattle Foundation.
