Our beloved father & husband, Wing Kit Lau, passed away peacefully on 20th August 2013. Wing was diagnosed as colon cancer in June 2013, he survives for almost 3 months after knowing he had cancer. Wing was born on 28th July 1948 in Hong Kong.
Wing was the eldest brother, after graduation from high school he went to work in Bahamas for a year. Wing joined the Royal Hong Kong Police Force in 1975. He married Chin in 1979 and was promoted as Sergeant in the same year. After two years, their 1st child, Benjamin was born. In 1985, their daughter, Jossie was born, and Wing was promoted as Station Sergeant. Wing was retired in 2004, then immigrant to Seattle in 2006 with his wife and daughter. Wing worked as a school bus driver in Seattle for 6 years.
Fortunately, his mother, siblings, cousin, and friends, came to pay a visit in July. Wing spent the rest of his life with his lovely family before he gone. His wife, son and daughter were surrounded him when he passing away.
