
Larry Edmond Hill, age 77, died Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Rhinelander. Larry was born January 1, 1936 to Frank and Frances (Grimes) Hill. He worked for Pioneer Trucking 16 years, ITC Trucking and Julius Bach Trucking .Larry served in the US Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1960. He was a member of VFW Ray Rousseau Post #3143. He enjoyed restoring antique cars, driving stock cars. One year he won eleven of thirteen races at Tomahawk Speedway. Larry was a good husband and father and enjoyed being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his sons: Larry (Sarah) Hill Jr. of Madison, WI, Frank Hill of Sugar Camp, WI, and Donald (Tammy) Hill of Rhinelander, WI. He is further survived by his daughters, Wanita (Pat) Cook of Rhinelander, WI and Michelle (Paul) Fenske of Milwaukee, WI, 21 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. His brothers, Mark (Bev) Catlett of Zanesville, OH, David Hill of Minneapolis, MN and sister-in-law Dolores Ziemke of Bowling Green Ky. also survive.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nadine, who died March 7, 2001, his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.
