Annie Ruth Burleson, 86 of Palestine, Texas, passed away on November 17, 2018. Ruth was born on August 29, 1932 in Tyler, Texas to Ernest and Annie (Porter) Warren. The family will be accepting guests at Sparkman Funeral Home of Richardson, 1029 S. Greenville Avenue, from 9:30am-10:30am on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Funeral services will be immediately following at Sparkman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Susan Bratt officiating. Services will conclude following interment at Dallas Fort-Worth National Cemetery.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Alice Lucas and her husband Bruce; sisters, Oleta Phillips, Jean Cozby, Linda Tiner, and Judy Granado; grandchildren, Adriane Wolfe, Teresa Cope, Michael Lucas, Douglass Rauschelbach, and Andrea Alvarez; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Loyd Burleson; daughter, Kathy Rauschelbach; and grandson, Brian Rauschelbach.
The family would like to express their gratitude towards the staff of Dogwood Trails Assisted Living and the doctors and nurses at Palestine Regional Hospital.
