Donald Baker Driensky of Hampden, Maine passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Danbury, Connecticut on November 27, 1929, and he was the son of George and Lorraine Driensky and brother of Joyce Carlisle. Donald graduated from high school in Danbury and went on to serve as a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force during the Korean War where he was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He was a Master Mason for over 50 years. On July 20, 1952 he married Carolyn Jane Powers at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Winn, Maine. During their 58 years of marriage they had three children; Dana, Jennifer and Janet and nine grandchildren; Jonathan, Daniel, Caitlin, Meaghan, Christopher, Eric, Alex, Jackson, and Justin. In lieu of flowers, Donald's family asks that donations be made in his honor to the American Heart Association. Memorial services will be held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas and at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Ellsworth, Maine.
