Dorothy B. Cline, 95, of Richardson, Texas, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022. She was born on February 12, 1927, in Lockney, Texas, to the late Dennis B. & Berta B. (Wheelock) Ford. Dorothy grew up in the Texas Panhandle and was a 1945 graduate of Spearman High School. Dorothy married her beloved husband, Morris R. Cline, in 1947, and together they raised their daughter, Ardena. Dorothy’s greatest joy was being a wife and mother to her family. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church for many years, while they lived in Amarillo. Dorothy enjoyed working in the garden, and especially loved her flowers. She also enjoyed studying her family’s genealogy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris R. Cline, in 2003; brother, Dennis B. Ford, Jr.; two sisters, Barbara Jackson and Geneva Langley. Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Ardena & Mark Gallacher of Dallas; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley & Walter McNew of Richardson; and several nieces and nephews.
