James Charles McClendon

James Charles McClendon, 79, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Jim was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 18, 1942. After serving in the Air Force, he graduated from The University of Alabama with a B.S in Accounting and had a career as VP and General Manager at EBSCO Industries. He is survived by his children and their wives, Mark and Briston McClendon, Austin McClendon and Tiffany Turnbull, partner of 22 years Joan Heath, and grandchildren Brooklyn, London, Gavin, Carson, and Caden. A visitation for James will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Sparkman Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1029 South Greenville Ave, Richardson, TX 75081, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
