Joseph Dominick Zoccoli was born May 11, 1925 in Inwood, New York to Giuseppe and Concetta Montelione Zoccoli. Joseph passed away on August 20, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Navy and was a former member of the VFW. Joseph was employed with Lilco for 25 years then went into the catering business. He was involved with many religious activities including the Catholic reformation center and All Saints Catholic Church. Joseph is survived by his wife of 61 years, Theresa Zoccoli; sons, Mike and wife Linda Zoccoli, Patrick Zoccoli, and James (Zeke) and wife Sandy Zoccoli; Grandchildren, M. J., Andrew and wife Sarah, Robert, Mary, Lauryn, Pam, Keith and wife Stephanie, Joe and Emily Zoccoli and Chris Lee; Great-Grandson Chase Zoccoli. Visitation will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM at Sparkman Funeral Home, with a Vigil service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 23, 2011 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano. A Reception will be held at the church after the Mass. Entombment will be held at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, 3235 Lombardy Lane, at 1:00 PM, for those who wish to accompany the family. Serving as Pallbearers will be Jim Zoccoli, Mike Zoccoli , Joseph Paul Zoccoli, Chris Lee, George Vrla, Tom Dahl, Mark Cooper, and Matthew Liptoi. Honorary Pallbearer will be Patrick Zoccoli.
