She was born in New York, New York on October 5th, 1956. Kathy graduated from Miramar High in 1974 located in Miramar, Florida where she lived for over 30 years. She and her family then moved to Texas in 2000.
She was married to Rick D. Compton on November 9th, 1974. Kathy worked for over 30 years as a Pharmacy Technician for Walgreens both in Florida and Texas. She was loved by the customers that she helped everyday and she was very proud of the work she did. She loved being outside taking care of her yard. She had an amazing love for music which she passed on to both her children. And she especially had love for all her cats!
She is survived by her mother Mary Jane Schwinn, husband Rick Compton, children Sandy Valladares and Kyle Compton, grandchildren Logan Valladares and Dominic Valladares son-in-law Paul Valladares. Her sisters Susan Christensen and Linda Hogue. As well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Arthur Schwinn and her brother Stephen Schwinn.
She will be deeply missed, and in our hearts forever!!
